Gigantes

???

Gigantes [Giants] - They were produced when the blood from the mutilation of Ouranos caused by Kronos fell upon Gaea. Monstrously tall, and of vast size, they fought against Zeus for the possession of Olympus. The gods appealed to Heracles for help and succeeded in destroying the Giants who vanished thereafter from the face of the earth. [p. 47]
