Consider that perspective may be one of many approaches or points of view --aerial, linear, etc. And - more than one or two perspectives may be actively engaged --an emotive or suggestive perspective as well as aerial or linear, etc.

Consider that some work is organized to present reality from the perspective of being inside looking out --the borders all on one plane with all contained within seeming to be moving inside or outside as one journeys into the view; this was common in the combined natural and decorative scenes of Minoan art. Consider that an Egyptian motif was to present the profile view of people and animals with auxilliary lines suggesting both depth and movement.
